consultation

Because every home is different, an initial consultation is required. We’ll first begin with a 30-minute phone call to learn more about your needs and make sure we’re a good fit for the project. If we’re a match, we’ll schedule an in-home consultation to assess your home and discuss further in depth the needs and desires of your space. If you’re not local, don’t worry! This step can be done virtually. This process allows us to dive into the creative process, getting to know your unique style better.

After our initial consultation, we’ll provide you with a service proposal. Once you've given it the thumbs-up, you can simply sign the service agreement and take care of the service retainer fee. We're all about making things hassle-free, so we accept all major credit cards or good old-fashioned checks.

Once the retainer fee has been paid, we'll roll up our sleeves and get down to the nitty-gritty of designing and curating the perfect elements for your unique space, just as we discussed during our first meeting. This process typically takes a couple of weeks, as we meticulously craft a mood board that captures the refined essence you're after. We'll weave together layouts, explore finishes, and infuse your space with tasteful styles and influences.

At this point, we’re ready to present our designs to you for your approval. Specifically, we’ll be reviewing inspiration images that reflect the vision, a mood board of each room so you can picture the end result, color schemes, textures and patterns, a floor plan of each room with all proposed furniture mapped out, a list of our trades we’ll be using if we need to engage any (paint, curtains, etc), and a few design curveballs that we’ve come up with. The concept meeting can take up to 2 hours as it is a pretty in-depth discussion. We’re not only walking you through the plan for every room in detail, but we’re also asking for your feedback every step of the way. In an ideal world, you’ll love every single idea but there might be a few things you’re unsure about and we want to know. We can provide up to two design alterations, after that a fee will be charged for each design change.

Once we’re all in agreement on the design, we'll dive right into action, meticulously curating a list of products for your review and approval. This process may take a few weeks, as we leave no stone unturned to ensure perfection. In case we involve any tradespeople for specialized tasks like window treatments, paint, flooring, or woodwork, we'll coordinate a dedicated day for them to come out and get the job done. To keep you in the loop, we provide access to a sophisticated client portal where you can explore the meticulously crafted design plans for each room and find a comprehensive list of the products we'll be procuring. Once you've given your final nod to the product selection, we'll reach out to our suppliers to gather the necessary invoices and begin purchasing.

Depending on the package you’ve chosen, this is where our journey finalizes. We’ll either hand over the design items and let you get to work, or we’ll continue on and begin installing the design for you. With the latter service, we bring everything together with utmost care and intentionality. Our team will visit your home, ensuring each piece of furniture finds its perfect place according to the layout we planned in the concept document. With a keen eye for detail, we'll add those final touches and carefully selected accessories to elevate each room to its fullest potential. This process may take a little extra time, as we believe in giving every detail the attention it deserves, so plan for this process to take one to two days.
